What we collect
Your questionnaire answers: filing status, an income range, the kinds of income and forms you have, your states and your preferences. We never ask for your name, Social Security number, tax documents, bank details or exact income.
How we use it
To produce your comparison and to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site. Comparisons are anonymous and deleted after 180 days. We use privacy-focused analytics without advertising cookies or session recordings. Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
When you leave for a provider
We record that a link was used. We don’t send your answers to the provider.
Your choices
Your answers stay in your browser tab and disappear when you close it. To ask about data we hold, email privacy@taxamoney.com.
